Plans for Westmount Place are finally public and it is generating a lot of discussion.
Killam, the site owners, brought their initial design concept to Council in May. It was the first public viewing of the plan, which can be found in full here: https://www.waterloo.ca/en/government/zone-changes.aspx#Dietz
I am neither for nor against the proposal. In fact, I'm not even allowed to express an opinion either way until the formal, final vote at Council. But I do want to know what YOU think of it. And the developers do, too.
That's why I’d like to invite interested residents to a public information session on Thursday, June 27 at the Adult Recreation Complex at 185 King Street South. It’s a drop-in with the developers running from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
(Sorry it’s on the last day of school, but it was either that or hold it in summer, and no-one would have wanted that.)
Come, see the plans, share your feedback and/or concerns directly with the developers, and come have a chat with me, too. I do hope to see you there.
